Heroes: Meghera, Serghor, Vaako, Zark, Sai
The Heroes reach Skerrit's Glade; at the start, the centaurs inhabiting the realm are not very friendly, but when they are convinced that the Heroes are there to help, they bring them to Sarazh, the Signer formerly in charge of Dreampost. The elderly tiefling is in the company of two githyanki, Zark and Sai, also escaped from Signpost.
Sarazh confims that the One is most probably still in Dreamheart, guarded by Garond and his hunters. After a rest, the Heroes travel to Signpost, which they find deserted and in ruins. When they enter Dreamheart, they're assaulted by Garond and his men. The Heroes manage to defeat the wild hunters, but Garond escapes. Still ,the Heroes recover the One, still unconscious and prisoner of his own dreams.
The Heroes leave Signpost, and decide to accept the Cat Lord's invitation, and visit her realm in Brux. All the Cat Lord wants is to be rid of the rumors blaming her for the nightmares plaguing the Beastlands and Sigil, thus she offers sanctuary to the Heroes; in the safety of her realm, Meuronna can perform the ritual to send them into the One's dreamscape.
In the dreamscape, the Heroes must confront the One's darkest nightmares, and help his mind overcome its fears. First they must battle shadowy cats lurking in the darkness, then they witness the rage and fury of the One, as he destroys Dreamheart in the form of a wild beast. When the Heroes succeed in calming him down, they're ushered into the final, most terrible dream.
As the One diminishes and disappears, the god Malar makes its way out of a triangular gate. With the memory of the terrible deaths of Jade and Sarvaas still fresh in their minds, the Heroes battle Malar, as the god slashes at them with its claws, and assaults their minds with its fearsome roar. But this time the Heroes overcome the challenge, when Vaako rips the beast apart with his magical claws.
Once again, the dreamescape changes, and the Heroes find themselves in a grey bubble, with the One unconscious at the center of it; floating in their proximity, a globe of light shows the way out of this final dream. But the way is barred by Garond himself, attempting one last time to stop the Heroes. Yet, his hubris ushers his fall, and his defeat is quick and final.
When the Heroes return to reality, they find Meuronna and the Cat Lord waiting for them. A barmy Garond stumbles forward, his mind lost forever in madness. After saying their goodbyes, the Heroes return to Sigil with the One, and deliver him to the Signers. As a parting gift, the One alters reality just a bit, to make sure that all of Sigil is aware of the role they have played in ending the nightmares. Hailed as saviours by their factions and the citizens of Sigil, the Heroes take a break from planeswalking, and enjoy their newfound fame for the next few weeks.
