Serghor

Aasimar Cleric (Arcana)
Soldier

Raised and trained as a warrior to serve in the army of Glorium, Gate city of Ysgard, Serghor never questioned his place in the multiverse and his loyalty to his comrades and generals. The army was everything for him, his shelter and his purpose in life.

The memories of the last battle of Serghor are stained with the crimson of the blood of his fellows. A veritable force of demons engaged at the gate of the city of Bedlam. Serghor awoke in a dull winter morning, a demon horn piercing his chest, all around the festering corpses of his friends and leaders.

Somehow he survives, weak and ashamed, and started the journey to return to Glorium. He then fell prey to some bandits that sold him as a slave to a wizard, searching for some subjects for his experiments. The time spent in the hands of the wizards was a continuous nightmare for Serghor. He prayed, begged his gods to help him, to relieve him from his pain. But the gods didn't listen.

The wizard, whose name Serghor does not even remember, eventually fell prey of his own hubris. Summoning magic he could not control, the man was consumed by otherworldly flames. Serghor, broken and almost mad, freed himself and escaped the wizard’s abode. Lost, he wandered the Outlands, his faith shattered and his will broken. Eventually he found its way to Sigil, and started to revere the only true power that has somewhat comes to his aid in time of desperate need. Magic itself.

Then he joined the Athar. He commited to his faction as he committed to his army in his previous life. He believes the essence of magic that runs through all the multiverse is the only true force to fear and respect, and gods and man alike have to kneel at it. He despises wizards the most and all the other scholarly mages, while sorcerer are, in his eyes, blessed beings, touched by the real essence of the multiverse.
