Session 17

Heroes: Meghera, Serghor, Jade, Vaako, Sarvaas

 

The Heroes are hired by a mysterious gentleman to deliver a letter to his "beloved", offering a considerable sum for their services. He explains that his family has been at war with the family of his lady for many generations, and delivering the letter may be a dangerous proposition. He's not willing to offer too many details about the location of the lady's home, but he will give them a crystal sphere that will open a portal near to the lady's abode, and a magic seeker stone, that will point them in the right direction.

 

Erinyes

Having accepted the offer, the Heroes activate the crystal sphere; but as a lattice of magic begins to surround them, a powerful devil rushes forward, and is enclosed by the lattice with them. The erinyes begins to interrogate the Heroes about their mission, but the situation rapidly degenerates into a fight. Serghor cuts the fight short, and banishes the devil back to Hell.

 

After a short time, the magic of the crystal runs its course, and the Heroes find themselves in the first layer of the Abyss, the Plain of Infinite Portals. Following their seeker stone, they travel the barren landscape, making their way among the rugged terrains, and having to fight demons out for their blood.

 

Chasme

After crossing a forest of viper trees, they arrive at a tower decorated with razor blades. They smooth-talk the chasme guardians, and get into the tower. Exploring a few of the rooms, they understand they must be in the home of a demon interested in pleasure and pain... most probably a succubus. When they enter her living quarters, they're no disappointed to find a sensual maiden awaiting them, surrounded by her cambion bodyguards.
