Xeridan Dreamwalker

Half-elf Paladin (Ancient) / Sorcerer (Dragon)
Noble

Xeridan Dreamwalker, scion of the House Dreamwalker. A house that has long standing and deep rooted ties with the Fraternity of Order. So deep even that it’s an accepted fact that any offspring will be in the fraternity’s membership.

Among the high society of Sigil, he is known for his painting (although not necessarily masterpieces, he has a small following), his participation in parties and in the last years, for his eccentric attention for all things ophidian.

His adventures are not highly advertised, yet his prowess with the blade is acknowledged. The bright glowing sunsword, Moon’s Kiss, has become known as his signature weapon, often wielded in concert with a magical longsword he calls Early Dawn.

His contribution to the Fraternity of Order is recognized as an explorer and researcher into natural occurrences of law in the Multiverse. His reports are not groundbreaking, but dependable and often of out of place regions.

A few years ago, he underwent a spiritual change and legally changed his name to Xeridan. He has not disclosed why, but has asked others to respect his choice. Since then he has been seen wearing the holy symbol of a snake cradling a moon in its coils. Although sometimes prone to odd behaviour, high society has so far merely considered him quirky and eccentric.

Death (session 71): He broke the Staff of the Magi in two, inflicting the fatal wound to the undead god Tenebrous. He did not survive the blast.

Serghor

Aasimar Cleric (Arcana)
Soldier

Raised and trained as a warrior to serve in the army of Glorium, Gate city of Ysgard, Serghor never questioned his place in the multiverse and his loyalty to his comrades and generals. The army was everything for him, his shelter and his purpose in life.

The memories of the last battle of Serghor are stained with the crimson of the blood of his fellows. A veritable force of demons engaged at the gate of the city of Bedlam. Serghor awoke in a dull winter morning, a demon horn piercing his chest, all around the festering corpses of his friends and leaders.

Somehow he survives, weak and ashamed, and started the journey to return to Glorium. He then fell prey to some bandits that sold him as a slave to a wizard, searching for some subjects for his experiments. The time spent in the hands of the wizards was a continuous nightmare for Serghor. He prayed, begged his gods to help him, to relieve him from his pain. But the gods didn't listen.

The wizard, whose name Serghor does not even remember, eventually fell prey of his own hubris. Summoning magic he could not control, the man was consumed by otherworldly flames. Serghor, broken and almost mad, freed himself and escaped the wizard’s abode. Lost, he wandered the Outlands, his faith shattered and his will broken. Eventually he found its way to Sigil, and started to revere the only true power that has somewhat comes to his aid in time of desperate need. Magic itself.

Then he joined the Athar. He commited to his faction as he committed to his army in his previous life. He believes the essence of magic that runs through all the multiverse is the only true force to fear and respect, and gods and man alike have to kneel at it. He despises wizards the most and all the other scholarly mages, while sorcerer are, in his eyes, blessed beings, touched by the real essence of the multiverse.

Meghera

Undead Tiefling Rogue (Swashbuckler) / Wizard (Conjurer)
Criminal

Meghera does not remember much. Her name. A portal. Sickening colours merging outside and inside of her. A taste of blood, her blood. When she found herself in Sigil, she understood that much about her had... changed... but she could not remember how. Her demonic shape, somehow she felt it was not the way she was born.

But one memory, more of a feeling really, burned in her head. A god, an all-powerful god, the One True god of her people. A people she does not remember. But she knows she served this god once. Maybe she served him still.

Her instinct, and her fiendish powers, helped her survive in the City of Doors. She was naturally attracted to the seediest parts of town, and soon fell in with street gangs in the Hive. She found she had a natural talent for sneaking, and for killing people. Could that be the way she served her god in her previous life?

Death (session 71): She touched the circlet of Anarchocles to the skull topping the Wand of Orcus, destroying the Wand and its wielder, the High-priest Quah-namog, but also obliterating herself.
